You might not automatically look to California’s wine country for sturdy outdoor gear, but then…here we are. These guys operate a massive brick-and-mortar store--so big, it actually takes up two buildings. This means it may actually be easier to shop online, as the pages are laid out simply, and the navigation is pretty easy to follow. They provide a good range of excellent gear, most of which can’t seem to shake a sense of style. It’s the perfect place to shop if you're trying to impress a bear, or outdress a park ranger.
